How it Works

“If we are in trouble in any area, everyone at NCCC tries to help and support us”

Is NCCC for you?

Do you have a full- or part-time job? Is consistent transportation a challenge? Are you wanting to start on general education courses without leaving home? The NCCC eliminates common barriers students face and provides them with the academic support they need to succeed. Students can earn an Associate of Arts degree without leaving town.

In-person classes are offered in the evenings through Riverland Community College. Students who are taking in-person or online classes through any postsecondary institution have access to quiet study space, wifi and printing services, and tutoring. Staff members are available to help students with career planning, resumes, internship research, and financial aid questions and applications.

Students can enroll in the NCCC at three different points throughout the year: fall (August), spring (January) and summer (June).

The NCCC is located in the Northfield Community Resource Center (NCRC) right next to the Northfield High School. The address is 1651 Jefferson Parkway. Enter on the north side of the building and find us on the second floor, rooms #210 and #225.
